Reporting
From Plex-XML
Plex-XML provides a web-based user interface. Because of this an integrable reporting solution has to have a web interface as well.
In order to avoid the coding of report calls and all its parameters on multiple places within the XSLTs Plex-XML provides some build-in interface tables to call reports that are created within 3rd-party reporting frameworks.
Reporting tools we are currently working with are:
- Cognos 8 Enterprise Reporting
- Crystal Reports Vers.11
- Eclipse BIRT
It should be possible to adapt further reporting tools because all configuration options are stored in system properties or XSLT files.
